What we collect
Pickem Maker stores the pool name, member display names, weekly picks, standings-related pool data, and commissioner settings. Pools are identified by a random URL. Anyone with the URL may be able to view or join the pool unless the commissioner locks it.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser cookies to remember commissioner and member identity for each pool. Commissioner cookies are HttpOnly. We use localStorage to show "Your Pools" on the homepage. LocalStorage stays in your browser.
Schedule and score data
Pickem Maker fetches NFL schedule and score data from ESPN's public scoreboard API and caches parsed schedule data in Cloudflare KV for performance.
Feedback
If you send feedback, the message is sent by SMS through Textbelt to the site operator. Do not include sensitive information in feedback messages.
What we do not collect
- No account passwords.
- No required email addresses.
- No payment information.
- No buy-in or payout records.
Data retention
Pool data is stored until the commissioner deletes the pool or the service removes inactive or abusive content. Because pool URLs are shareable, do not put private or sensitive information in pool names or display names.
