What we collect

Pickem Maker stores the pool name, members' display names, weekly picks, and commissioner settings. Pools are identified by a random URL. Anyone with the URL may be able to view or join the pool unless the commissioner locks it. Other members see your picks for a game once that game has kicked off.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser cookies to remember commissioner and member identity for each pool. These cookies are HttpOnly. We use localStorage to show "Your pools" on the homepage, and localStorage stays in your browser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and features used, such as a pick being saved. It doesn't receive pool names, member names, or picks.

Schedule and score data

Pickem Maker gets NFL schedule and score data from ESPN's public scoreboard and caches it in Cloudflare for speed.

Feedback

If you send feedback, the message goes to the site operator by SMS through Textbelt. Please don't include sensitive information.

What we don't collect

• No account passwords.
• No required email addresses.
• No payment information.
• No buy-in or payout records.

Data retention

Pool data is kept until the commissioner deletes the pool, or until we remove inactive or abusive content. Pools are backed up so a season's picks aren't lost. Because pool URLs are shareable, don't put private or sensitive information in pool names or display names.
